Alacoque Davey is an artist who creates objects and surfaces which seek to unify her love of line form and texture.
Her work is driven by a commitment to process and the materiality of clay, paint, print, paper and plaster.
Her mixed media works are primarily concerned with the play between positive and negative space and the notion of absence.
She attended art school studying Fine Art at Liverpool John Moores University and went on to gain MA from Ulster University.
Currently her practice focuses on collage which she describes as “sculpting with paper”
